Bad Fotography permanent favorites, Midnight Juggernauts is releasing their long awaited single since their 2007 smash hit Dystopia on Acephale Records.
Acephale is home to the likes of the eccentric sounds of CFCF and Salem – therefore you wouldn’t think the intricate prog-dance rock of Midnight Juggernauts is gonna fit in. But Andrew Juggernaut, Vincent Vendetta, and Daniel Stricker have hinted at a slightly different direction now, focusing more on the “prog” than the “dance” this time. I was unable to really pin point the “prog” part from Dystopia previously but their new single This New Technology is definitely a step closer to that direction.
The band is keepin things fresh and mysterious before their scheduled 2010 launch of their second full length release. I’m praying it will be as good as Dystopia because that album has become a mainstay in my playlists.
