SXSW have proclaimed Popular Damage “a poppier version of Yeah Yeah Yeahs crossed with Daft Punk.” Surely if SXSW gets that excited then I should too?
You know what, I AM! Maybe even abit too excited. Totally developed an instant crush on Nadine Raihani the moment I saw this picture of her in a Mix Hell t-shirt playin guitar.

Ok, anyway. Popular Damage is this ridiculously catchy dance + electro + pop collab project thingy between Manchester’s (reprezent!) Nadine and Stephan Hengst from Germany. They did this crazy amazing rework of Tegan & Sara‘s The Con and turned Digitalism into some kinda lovely indie-discoband with their remix which you can check out on their myspace because I don’t wanna spoil the fun. Can also just say that I LOVE her accent.

Anyway Stephan’s dropped this gorgeous Fukkk Off remix of their excellent track, Everybody Got Young. Now I ain’t really into into Mr Fukkk Off previously but this time, the re-arranged synth stabs in this remix is fucking sexxxxyyy! I can’t get this track out of my head!
