We’re getting a bit happy with folk music these past few days aren’t we. This time, we’ve received 3 Bad Panda releases for you guys today. The first one’s from Jon Coyle. Think of it as ambient, lucid folk music very much similar to Sun Ra, maybe even a bit of (old)Aphex Twin.

Next up, is Boy Without God‘s City Kids.
already hailed as one of the promising new talents to emerge out of Boston, drawing parallels with Neutral Milk Hotel and perhaps maybe even Elliott Smith.

And lastly, the slightly eccentric and esoteric , a strange amalgamation of jazzy world beats, gypsy dance and balkan sounds. I only say its strange because I can’t really appreciate this kind of stuff but it you count Gogol Bordello in your music collection then perhaps this might rock your boat.
