New video revealed from Foals‘ new album, Total Life Forever which is scheduled for release on May 10th, 2010.
Talk about total change of direction. Yannis and co has made a drastic u-turn away from their previous highly-energetic, stop-start indierock from their first release
Antidotes, a sound he once described as “making insect noises with guitars.”
This time Foals are more laid back and chilled out, kinda melancholy too. The video is absolutely beautiful.
Also, if you go to their website, you can get a lush remix of Spanish Sahara.
Tried looking for pre-order info on Transgressive and Sub Pop but couldn’t find any. Oh well, we’ll just have to wait.

They’d sound like Breton, or Breton would sound like Foals. [...]
