M.I.A has swung straight into attack mode. Born Free is a track of her new album about to pop out on Interscope. The album’s name is still unknown but this track will give us a taste of M.I.A’s new style: this is hardcore, electronic distorted abrasive wall of sound, armageddon-announced-over-the-megaphone vocal destruction.
This video is violent, disgusting, thought provoking, fucks with your head like its meant to. This is definitely NOT SUITABLE FOR WORK AND CHILDREN. The video is already banned on Youtube.
Directed by the french director, Romain Gavras, the same guy who directed Justice‘s Stress video and Simian Mobile Disco‘s I Believe and DJ Mehdi‘s Signatune.
Don’t ask just watch. Screw Lady Gaga. This is by far the best video of 2010 already.
