Thieves Like Us Forget Me Not I don’t know why every other knobhead who writes for a shitty blog loves to hate Thieves Live Us – for example the idiotic “reviewers” at Drowned in Sound (http://drownedinsound.com/releases/14525/reviews/4137425), which I have documented very publicly in twitter. Its obvious that they don’t get it:
the loneliness of finding love in a foreign city, in a language that they can’t even understand. The need to self-destruct quietly, on the dancefloor, because when morning comes, a lifeless day job beckons. The yearning. The beautiful harshness of Berlin’s streets coming out of those vintage synths. The nights and the lights.

And yet they made it. Thieves Like Us made it.

Good news for us fans is that Thieves Like Us returns with a new single!! Having cleverly “leaked” the video Never Known Love last January on youtube (now with more than 14,000 views), the group comes back with another gorgeous tune, Forget Me Not. Listen to it here.
Its going to be out in all formats come April 20th (that’s just two more days to go.)
