Ahhhh Lifelike. I’m a bit late for this one but HEAR ME! This French master is in the “constant rotation” list on my music player. His disco-tinged electro mixes are tracks that stay classic forever, they don’t ride on some kinda forgettable new wave trend. Alan Braxe was right to make him his protege of sorts.
Anyway, he’s gone on to set up his own label, Computer Science which ya’ll should support coz the idea is that folks can buy the music direct from the label before it is released digitally. Really cool concept – will thismean that tracks are of higher quality and cheaper? More info to follow.
And what better way to sample the label than via his new single, Love Emulator. Just recently released on Computer Science a few days back, it’s more of that disco / electro that I love, but more suited for summer.
