Jesus christ. The Black Angels. Straight outta Austin. Sounding like a very modern psychadelic rock and roll band – Joensuu 1685 doesn’t even come close. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is nowhere near the massiveness of this sound.
Raw rock and roll like its coming right outta the backwaters of some dangerous, bad ass town. Dirty, druggy, drunken hypnotism, feedback delay churning into muddy, murky riffs.

And then with one evil black howling cry, the pace changes, into the kind of rhythm you will instantly recognize in Swedish band, Division of Laura Lee’s stuff circa Black City / Das Not Compute. (The Refused? THE REFUSED ARE FUCKING DEAD!)
