VERY Depeche Mode is the first thing I’d say about Night Gallery. And that’s a compliment. Constant Struggle hits that gloomy note perfectly. The foreboding synths and dark drum machines echoing in the back. I only wish the tone of the vocals would be lower and heavier, the way it is in their track Sex Curse. That song send chills up my spine, man.
Night Gallery is the lovechild of Aaron David Ross of GATEKEEPER, (another Chi-town outfit that I’m really digging right now) and Adam Griffiths of Golden Birthday.
Night Gallery’s album is being released via Rainbow Body Records and if you guys havent heard of the label yet, I urge you to check it out. They have got some serious good shit goin on. I think I’m going to dedicated the next few posts to Rainbow Body Records’ stuff.
