You know, like back in the day, your best friend used to make a mixtape for you with all his favorite bands that you’ve never heard of. And you’re like wow, this is awesome. And you end up remembering those bands for years, memorising their releases. This post is kinda like that.
I received a tip off from another blogger friend of mine, whose blog I’ve been following religiously for quite some time and he’s like, “Hey, check this guy out. He’s like this Swedish producer dude. Usually goes by the name of Fredrick Carlsson but this is his new side project.”
Pao Pao is strictly music made for the moment, free-style non-commercial, not made for the radio. It’s not here to please anyone, aint made to hit the charts or anything naff like that. It’s music for the now. The here. You put it on and you go, Yeah! This is it. This is good. You can call it techno, but its focused on the synths. The synths are the lead, connecting the dots, moves with the rhythm.
