Joseph Vorachack is certainly not emo, and although you may shelf him with the rest of the tender surf pop sounds that is flooding the scene, I feel his slo-fi possess a certain amount of zest, a childlike innocence that makes his songs so honest and heartfelt, even while they are in your face.

This is a quality not present in most of his drugged-out counterparts. In a capitalist world, some of you fancy entrepreneur-types may consider this a “unique selling point”.
