Seerauber Jenny is something beautiful that happened when Neil Claxton heard the quirky Fran Baxter’s raw acoustic sounds and decided to turn them into proper songs. The concept I’m getting here it alot of fuzzy idealism, love lost and loneliness, melodrama and emotion. The Brighton sea always in the background.
It’s gorgeous, uplifting, sometimes quite saddening and really really reminds me of Tegan & Sara, probably if T&S were from London. Especially the song Captain Ahab.
