Those of you who missed last night’s Purple Rhinestone Eagle show, I feel sorry for ya. Their set was thunderous, loud and fucking awesome. Their myspace really doesnt do them justice. I’ve said this before – you haveta see them live. If anyone took a picture of me trying to do a split-kick when they were opening their set, please email it to me.
People who hadn’t seen Cissy before were totally blown away: “Dude, they were awesome!” Claire from The Horn The Hunt had a bit of a sore throat but their set was totally on form. DIVORCE and Simon from Comanechi made a surprise visit to catch their friends Purple Rhinestone Eagle for a bit before running off back to Nation of Shopkeepers.
