Iron Toyz, this young french duo have approached me a couple of months back with their strange and yet refreshing style of mashing up self-penned, classically composed piano over an electro beat. It’s an acquired taste I think, but I do admire their originality.

Iron Toyz have got a new ep out called Misceo (latin for Mix) on Anchor Factory. It starts off pretty dramatic with the track Obsessions, they’ve been careful to avoid the cringing euro-dance tangent. Worthy of mention also is a remix by Tenkah (friend of eye-watering 8bit demoscene legend DAZE) of the track The Lunar Castle.
