At first, something about Wild Party didn’t click with me. I don’t know. I got their presspack like nearly 2 weeks ago. Maybe I was in a bad mood or somethin. Plus the lack of a soundcloud / myspace page really irks me because the website doesn’t exactly say much.
So you know, went through it again and found out that, hey, I actually quite like this. Like Late Of The Pier meets Strokes and the vocals sound much like Brandon Flowers.
A band that is very much on the same page as Passion Pit. Wild Party’s got a new single to be released via Friends Vs Records and will be touring with The Wombats in the UK. Somethin tells me the brit kids are going to like them very much. I’ve got the free download courtesy of the label and press folks and they wanted me to share with yall
