What an awesome name for a band! Cassette Schwarzenegger came out of nowhere, dropped a really simple message in my inbox and I nearly skipped it! This is the danger of sending plain-text emails with no branding / image content to bloggers like me who receive thousands of emails a day – it’s almost impossible to sift through unless its superbly eyecatching! Luckily for them, their name caught my attention.

The Cassette Schwarzenegger duo is on that super special label, OKTOKKI records, the label that is home to StardonE from South Korea. No suprises then that StardonE was chosen to remix their latest single Play – 80s inspired, disco funk electronic awesomeness. It’s also backed by a ridiculously amazing video, it’s already got more than 64 thousand views – kinda reveals what a good video can do to a song.
StardonE’s done his special touch to the tune, with his signature magical synth arrangements. You can download both the single and the remixed version for free because they’re absolutely bonkers and they love you!
