Lefto began life as a creative arstist by tagging whatever he could get his hands on as a youf. It was here that he was established as Lefto, a take on the French word for early riser “ leve tot”, and yes I know it has accents or one of this hat things in “leve” but I couldn’t work out how to do on this keyboard. Now housed within the walls of Belgium he has been laying down playlists for Belgiums premier radio station, Studio Brussels. Musically his production is quite eclectic, but leans ever so slightly towards hip hop beats, funk and future garage/bass or whatever else the newest sub/alternative genre’s name is at the moment. Either way it is good music.

Now all the way back over the pond to my home town of London, and it’s undeniably sick music scene. We find ourselves once more in the Boiler Room. Boiler Room is getting some love from both ends at the moment, if you haven’t checked it then make sure you do. Atmosphere and intimacy guaranteed all night.
This time round it is the Night Slugs finest Bok Bok and Girl Unit delivering sets like only they can.
