This one is a bit late. Getz is your man, if you like your drum n bass deep, dark and athmospheric. There’s just something about Russian dnb and dubstep producers that keeps me locked in (check this post on B.Soul when you get the chance). They’re always keeping things fresh. Getz’s has got that clean, smooth style, playing with a lot of deep, dark textured sounds, rich percussions. And when the drops arrive, they’re not the typical drops you’d expect, rather it’s more subtle, stripped back and minimal.
Getz and friends, Nuage and Thrn teamed up for their collab ep, Life Is The Show / Lost In Silence out a few months back on Silk Recordings. Each of these guys really deserve a post on their own.
