Kevin Jonson and the Huble imprint is testament to the kind of quality techno coming out of France at the moment – my kind of techno. Minimal, elegant, sharp beats, the title track Frozen Road, especially, gets down seriously deep. A little bit dark and melancholy. Serious stuff.
I know I can be quite euro-centric in this blog and tend to immediately champion anything coming out of the French or German underground but hey, you know, if it’s good, its good and it deserves to be said. 4am players right here, fantastic ep, keep an ear out for this fella.
