Stephen Lee Clarke from Wrongpop hit me up on facebook to pass on some very important information. This information is regarding Wrongpop: Volume 1, a compilation of songs from up and coming bands in aid of Deafness Research UK.
Some really awesome bands in here; Shield Your Eyes (check out photos from their set in Leeds), That Fucking Tank, Pulled Apart By Horses, Kong, and my new favorite discovery of the month, Ice, Sea, Dead People.
Ice, Sea, Dead People are a bunch of London kids doing skewed up noisy garage punk, plenty of off-timed riffs, abrupt stops and bratty shouty vocals. Kinda like if you try hard to imagine The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower with the swag of Ikara Colt. It’s not quite punk attitude but it’s energized as fuck.
