This is why I like jamming. And improvising. Improv, improv and fucking improv until something adds up, experiment, refine and the result is always something cool. Feorm is an instrumental collective based in Norfolk and that is exactly what they do. Find an old barn, get some amps and instruments down and create, create, create! Initially brought together for their love of krautrock / kosmische stuff like Can and NEU! they’ve progressively expanded into more ambitious territories – post-rock, psychadelic vibes, and the more experimental regions, you can tell these guys have a good ear for sound and a brilliant record collection. If you’re thinking, “Hold on a sec. That sounds fucking wanky“, you’re wrong. It’s not about using effects for the sake of using, and it’s absolutely not self-indulgent in any way.
