Most of you would have had listened to the Sex Pistols at least once in your lives, so this news must mean something to you. The Sex Pistols have signed to UMC last month and with that, they’re re-releasing their very first single, Anarchy In The UK in limited edition 7″ format on pictured vinyl – punk record snobs and collectors rejoice! The B-side is gonna feature I Wanna Be Me – which will be limited to just 3,500 copies.
The imagery of the Sex Pistol’s flyers, posters and record sleeves practically shaped the face of punk. Wanna know who designed them? Its none other than the artist Jamie Reid and he will be in Leeds for an exhibition and a series of workshops at Temple Works Leeds between from June 14th to July 14th. More juicy details to come.
